Our admissions process is centered on determining language proficiency. The most important piece of your application to the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation is the Early Diagnostic Test (EDT). The EDT is a self-administered test which evaluates both your written and oral language skills. Other criteria used to evaluate your application include undergraduate G.P.A., test scores on the TOEFL/IELTS, quality of work experience, in-country experience (country of B language), and letters of recommendation.
Accepted applicants are automatically considered for merit scholarships. Please pay special attention to our scholarship deadline dates: December 1, February 1, March 15, and May 15th. The admissions office must receive all application materials by these dates in order to be considered for scholarship review.
Please read about our application requirements, the admissions process, and contact us with your questions.
