Many GSTI internships are created by on-campus recruiters as a means to attract students early in the job hunting process. There are numerous times when faculty or alumni have started the process. In all cases, internship development is a partnership among GSTI constituencies to help students apply their classroom learning and prior experience to the marketplace. The result is a better understanding of the marketplace on the part of students.
